Rest in Peace, Harvey the Upright Bass. His neck was dislocated on the way to string orchestra this morning. If you will allow me to be sentimental for a moment:
Harvey, you were always there for me when I needed you most. We laid some pretty jammin’ basslines together, didn’t we? From our first pizzicato to our very last D-Major scale this morning, we made music that lit up my life in ways I can not thank you enough for. I found my salvation in your sound, Harvey, and I don’t know where I would be today without you. You will be missed, not only as an instrument, but as my close friend. Rest easy.

Thank you, everyone, for supporting me with the loss of my bass. Luckily, since Harvey was a rental, I can exchange him for a new one in a few weeks. It’s gonna be hard to give him back, though. This sucks. But thanks for your help, guys. I hope you won’t mind if I don’t post anything else today. I need some time to get my head together, things have been really hectic and this day just keeps getting worse.
