Archerfish are renowned for their amazing ability to shoot water at prey. The fish have a narrow grove on the roof of its mouth, which the fish presses its tongue against to form a channel. It then contracts its gill covers to force water through the channel to form a jet up to 5m long.

An adult archerfish can reliably shoot prey up to 2m away. If the first jet does not knock the prey into the water, the fish will quickly fire a second shot. Accuracy is gained through experience, with young fish hunting in small schools to increase the chance that the prey is hit.

and today he had the misfortune of finding that this man has a tattoo of George Bush, the Declaration of Independence, and a skull & crossbones on his back.

We have cicadas here in Taiwan EVERY summer, it's also a symbol of graduation here, for the school year ends at June, with the singing of at least hundreds of cicadas in the campus. Thanks for the advice, I'll try vinegar tonight.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a live cicada before - they don’t live around here. So I’m kind of excited to see them all this summer. They’re very interesting!

Let me know how the vinegar works! If it doesn’t, I’m sure there must be something else you can do to get rid of them. I wish you luck.
