Blue sharks are just plain weird.
They are found pretty much everywhere. They are viviparous, which means they give birth to live pups instead of eggs. A litter of blue sharks can yield anywhere from 5 to 135 pups with a gestation period of 1 year. And if this wasn’t all nonstandard enough, they form schools of other sharks of similar size and gender. No one can explain this. Also they’re freaking purple. Just stop it, blue sharks. Stop being so nonstandard.
Day 6 of Shark Study Week.
*EDIT* Can you tell that I drew the one on the bottom right at 5am? He looks like such a doofus. He’s my favorite.
