Science in action. And also, goofing off.

Join me in my quest to become brilliant.

Who are you, brain-rain? Please tell me.

You want to know more about me, do you?

My name is Emily, and there is a good chance that at the time you are reading this, I am sitting in a dark room brooding to myself about science. Either that or I’m asleep somewhere.

I am very passionate about science, especially theoretical physics. But you can expect to see quite a lot of chemistry and astronomy mixed in, with a dash of medical science and general neuroscience thrown in for good measure.

Bear in mind that this is a personal blog, and I do post about what I’m up to. Mostly complaining about schoolwork and nursing aches from the various chronic illnesses that have been bestowed upon me.

I post science-y art frequently. But I do post my own artwork from time to time. Usually reptiles and sharks with an occasional self-portrait. So expect that.

I play the upright bass, but not very well.

I can be a bit distant at times, but I am a nice person, so I encourage you to talk to me. I love your feedback and questions. Yes, you. You reading this. My ask box is right there. Drop me a line and say hey.

I post at least three times a day, unless Tumblr messes up my queue again. -shakes fist-

Q: How old are you? Where do you go to school? What is your full name?

These are the only questions I will not answer in the interest of personal security. Sorry. All I will say for now is that I’m a student from CT who goes to university in New York.

Q: What do you study?

Uh, pretty much everything. But I’m a physics major.

Q: Did you’d do dat

Q: Are you single?

Undoubtedly so.

Q: I only followed you for that shark comic.

Fair enough.
